 Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024:- Punjab Police has released a recruitment notification for filling up 1746 posts of Constable in District and Armed Cadre of Punjab Police vide Advt. No. 01/2024.

Name of the Posts: 

  • Constable (District Cadre): 970 Posts
    • Male: 653 Posts
    • Female: 317 Posts
  • Constable (Armed Police Cadre): 776 Posts
    • Male: 523 Posts
    • Female: 253 Posts

Age Limit (18 to 28 years as on 01.01.2024): Born not earlier than 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2006. 

Qualification: Matriculation (10th) passed with Punjabi as Compulsory / Elective or any other equivalent exam in Punjabi Language. Intermediate (10+2) Passed.

Fees: Rs. 1100/- for General candidates, Rs. 600/- for SC / ST / EWS candidates and Rs. 500/- for ESM candidates. 

Selection Process: 

  • Written Test
  • Physical Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Physical Eligibility:

  • Height for Male: 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cms)
  • Height for Female: 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cms)

Pay Scale: Rs. 34680/- + Other Allowance.
