UGC NET June 2024 (Session – I):- National Testing Agency (MHRD, Department of Higher Education) has released a notification for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2024 for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

Name of the Exam: UGC National Eligibility Test (NET)

Age Limit (Relaxation is applicable for reserved candidates): 

  • For NET: There is no upper age limit
  • For JRF (Max. 31 years 01.06.2024): Born not earlier than 02.06.1993 [Max. 31 years]

Qualification: Passed / Appearing Master Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC / ST / OBC / PwD) 

Fees: Rs. 1150/- for General candidates, Rs. 600/- for OBC / EWS candidates and Rs. 325/- for SC / ST / PwD candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: Certificate will be issued on the basis of performance in Written Exam.

  • Closure Date: May, 2024
  • Last Date of Online Payment: To Be Updated (Upto – 11:50 P.M)
  • Date of Correction in Application Form: To Be Updated (Upto – 11:50 P.M)
  • Date of Announcement City of Exam Centre: First Week of June, 2024
  • Date of Uploading Exam Admit Card: Second Week of June, 2022
  • Date of Examination: 10.06.2024 and 21.06.2024
  • Date of Uploading Result: July, 2024
